Pak Lah is Over?

PM to hand over reins to Najib in mid-2010
KUALA LUMPUR, Thurs:

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi Thursday announced that he would hand over the post of Umno president and Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman to his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak by middle of 2010.

He said the process of transferring the power had begun Thursday and that with the decision, he would not be leading the BN in the coming general election expected to be held sometime in 2012 or 2013.

"I took the opportunity to inform the supreme council at the meeting just now that I have reached an agreement with Datuk Seri Najib that I will not be leading the BN in the 13th general election.

"And this will also mean that we have to set in motion the process of transferring the power. I informed the supreme council that the process would begin with the announcement I'm making today.

"...that I plan to hand over the (Umno) president's post to Datuk Seri Najib by middle of 2010," he told a news conference after a close-door special briefing with Umno divisional leaders as well as leaders of the party's three wings -- Wanita, Youth and Puteri -- at the Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre here Thursday.

ANUAR IBRAHIM: POLICE CLASSIFY CASE AS SODOMY

Tan Sri Ismail Omar says they are investigating claims that some police stations refused to accept the report
Tan Sri Ismail Omar says they are investigating claims that some police stations refused to accept the report

KUALA LUMPUR: The sexual assault report against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been classified as sodomy.
This was the first time police have revealed that investigations had started after earlier saying that the allegations were mere heresay.

Yesterday, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar put to rest speculation about the investigations.

"The case has been classified as sodomy," he told the New Straits Times, adding that he could not comment further as investigations were still going on.

It was, however, learnt that police had classified the case as sodomy after receiving the medical report on the accuser, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who was an aide to the Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader.
On Sunday, Federal CID director Datuk Bakri Zinin had urged the public not to speculate on the case, saying police needed time to probe the allegations, which at the time, were merely hearsay.

Mohd Saiful, 23, had lodged a police report on Saturday, alleging that he had been sodomised by his boss, Anwar, several times.

On Monday, police forensics personnel were seen going into a unit at the Desa Damansara condominiums here in Damansara Heights, where the alleged incident took place.

On allegations by a relative of Mohd Saiful that several police stations had earlier refused to accept his report after he named Anwar as the "assailant", Ismail said they were investigating that claim.

Mohd Saiful, meanwhile, is believed to be under police protection. His family claimed that they have had no news from him ever since he lodged the report on Saturday night.

Checks yesterday also revealed that doctors at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital, after a battery of tests, found indications that Mohd Saiful had engaged in anal sex.

The New Straits Times learnt that doctors had taken stool samples for further investigation.

It was believed that Mohd Saiful had also complained of constipation when he was taken to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur outpatient ward.

Doctors, however, found something amiss during the check-up and upon questioning Mohd Saiful, learnt that he had been sodomised.

Checks on the Internet reveal that acute or forced sodomy can cause constipation. A University Malaya Medical Centre doctor said fear, mental trauma and the physical act could have caused the constipation.

"An anal tear and the pain could have resulted in the victim having difficulty in passing motion."

Najib Not Involved In Anuar Case...

Najib: I have no link to Anwar's accuser or case
KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he was not connected in any way to the sodomy allegations against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat officials had on Sunday attempted to tie Najib to Anwar's accuser by producing a picture of the latter in the foyer of the deputy prime minister's office.

"I am not involved at all in the case. The picture was taken three months ago."

Najib said the Anwar aide who made the allegations had come to his office on Feb 12 seeking help to obtain a scholarship from the government.

"He was a student leader and met my officer. He also took pictures with other leaders," he said at the Parliament lobby yesterday after chairing a meeting of the cabinet committee on foreign workers.
Elaborating in a statement to Bernama, Najib said the aide was a former student of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) while the officer in the photograph was responsible for, among other things, higher education.

"It is normal for guests, particularly students, who come to the office of the deputy prime minister to pose for photographs with officers as a record of their visit."

Najib said the contention by PKR president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail that the photograph was "evidence of an intention to wipe out" Anwar's political career was "baseless and intended to shift the focus of attention away from the actual accusation".

"As such, it is better that we wait for the police to conduct their investigation to determine the authenticity of the accusation and not make accusations and statements of a political nature and drag people who are not involved into the case," he said in the statement.

In the Parliament lobby, Najib said rather than point figures, the focus of the sodomy allegations should be on whether the act actually took place.

"The main question is, did the act take place? That is for police to establish."

On Anwar's fears for his safety, Najib said that they were unfounded.

"He has not been harassed all this time, especially when he was campaigning as opposition leader.

"This is not a question of political persecution, but a question of the law and the law must be allowed to take its course."

"We have never threatened his life. We have not harmed any politician and we have no intention of doing so.

"That is not the stand of the Barisan Nasional."

Asked about the likelihood of a repeat of Anwar's beating in police custody in 1998, Najib was emphatic.

"No, no, no. That was a very unfortunate incident."

On whether official protection would be given to Anwar, Najib said that was up to the police.

He said since Anwar was holed up in the Turkish embassy, the government would adhere to international laws.

"We need to establish whether this is asking for political asylum or seeking protection from the country's laws.

"We will leave it to the police to investigate and after that the government will decide on its next course of action. However, we will act in accordance with international law.

"He (Anwar) has not been charged. It depends on the police investigation. We must establish whether there is a criminal case against him."

Pak Lah Reaction About Anuar Case...

Abdullah: We are not out to frame Anwar
PUTRAJAYA: The Barisan Nasional and Umno have nothing to do with the sodomy allegations against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
The BN chairman and Umno president denied Parti Keadilan Rakyat claims that the police report against its de facto leader was intended to sabotage Anwar's political standing.

"I don't have such intention or plan at all. Yesterday, someone SMSed me (about the report). If that is so, let the police investigate and take appropriate action.

"The police are the ones who will determine whether the report is true or not. It is not something that we can determine. He will definitely deny it. That is common for someone who has been accused."

Abdullah said the question of whether Umno or BN had concocted the allegations did not arise.
"I do not think Umno or BN will go to that extent to create trouble or do something bad to him. It never crossed my mind to frame him or do something bad to him,"

He said his party colleagues and deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, "would not do such a thing".

"It never crossed their minds either."

Abdullah said the complainant in the case was entitled to file the report.

"We cannot stop any person from making a report because that is his right."

"I am not going to saying anything further. A report has been made, so let the police investigate. I have given no instruction whatsoever," he said.

Anwar described the report as "sheer fabrication".

"I believe we are witnessing a repeat of the methods used against me in 1998 when false allegations were made under duress," he said in a statement read by PKR vice-president Sivarasa Rasiah in Shah Alam yesterday.

A 23-year-old man lodged a police report alleging he was sodomised by the former deputy prime minister last week.

Earlier yesterday, the prime minister launched a "Bumi Hijau" programme in which residents of the federal administrative capital turned a plot of land in Precinct 9 into a vegetable patch.

Present were his wife Datin Paduka Seri Jeanne Abdullah, Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan, Putrajaya Corporation president Tan Sri Samsuddin Osman and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Sidek Hassan.

"Idle land must be utilised for our benefit and that of the country. In the face of inflation and to ease our financial burden, it is only appropriate for us to plant vegetables which we eat daily," Abdullah said.

He said the Agriculture and Agro-based Ministry and the relevant agencies would assist those interested in planting greens on the land.

"These agencies will provide seedlings and create more nurseries."

History rewind Again...: Anuar Ibrahim

This 2 day all newspaper a talking about DSAI the keadilan adviser. But what are they talking about?

WAN AZIZAH: Sodomy report an attempt to kill Anwar's political career
WAN AZIZAH AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE
WAN AZIZAH AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE
SHAH ALAM:

Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the police report on sodomy lodged against her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was an attempt to assassinate his political career.

“They could not bring him down through other ways and so made this political attempt, which is just a repeat of what had happened about 10 years ago,” said Wan Azizah said at Quality Hotel here this morning.

Wan Azizah said the 23-year-old man who lodged the report against Anwar at Jalan Travers police station in Brickfields on Thursday was a volunteer who joined to help the party during the last general election period.

"He came out of nowhere and offered to help us during the busy time of the campaigning. We knew little of him and and no background check was done on him as he was just a volunteer," said Wan Azizah.

She added the man was only an aide for three months.
Wan Azizah said Anwar "was taking it well" with the latest twist of event. Anwar's supporters have started gathering at the Quality Hotel in Shah Alam in anticipation of police action against him.

Meanwhile BERNAMA has reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has said that he was leaving to the police to investigate to determine the authenticity of the sodomy allegation against Anwar.

“It is the police who should take appropriate action. Since a report has been lodged, the police should investigate to establish whether the allegation was true or otherwise.

Abdullah was speaking to reporters after launching the “Green Earth Programme of Putrajaya Residents With The Prime Minister” here today.

He was responding to a police report lodged at the Jalan Travers police station in Brickfields by a 23-year-old man that he was sodomised by the former deputy prime minister last Thursday at a luxury apartment in Kuala Lumpur.

In KOTA BARU, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said the sodomy report against Anwar could mar the Opposition’s image and urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation on it.

Nik Aziz said that the allegation could be linked to a conspiracy to topple a political leader like Anwar. He was speaking to reporters at the Sultan Ismail Petra airport in Kota Baru today.

IN PENANG, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said if the allegation was made to topple Anwar, truth would prevail.

“A police report has been lodged, so let’s wait for the police to investige. If the allegation is false, the truth will eventually come out,” who is Penang Chief Minister said.

Thorny Issue

Dr M's Campaign To Topple The Prime Minister

Mahathir And Sharir Get Prickly
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad hits out at Tun Musa Hitam and Datuk Sharir Abdul Samad. Says they were thorns in UMNO's side, too....

Sharir fires back, saying, unlike Dr Mahathir, he never left the party but was refused entry into UMNO Baru.....
"Anyway, Tun has lost his right to criticise the party because he is no longer a member" he said.

MALAY UNITY WILL NOT BE AFFECTED BY DIFFERENCE OF OPINION, SAYS ZAID
"The Malay mind is not fragile nor is their thinking so narrow. They know right from wrong. Those who say that the Malays are in disarray are those unhappy with the present leadership's openness.
These people want to scare the Malays because they are afraid of the changes taking place. They are so used to the old culture that they are uncomfortable with the government's openness although it benefits the people.
The people must ask themselves what has brought about this disagreement. Unfortunately, no one is talking about reformation or change in Barisan Nasional. All they want is for Pak Lah to step down and transfer power. These are the demands of power crazy people who are afraid of change......"
minister in the PM's Department Datuk Zain Ibrahim

Report wants ACA to reopen probe into Eusoff Chin- LIngam relationship

  • The royal Commission og inquiry also recommended that ACA investigate a number of other judges who had received gifts from Lingam
  • Two senior legal figures said that action against judges implicated in the Lngam video clip inquiry must go through the legal process.
"I feel vindicated. The truth is out and justice has prevailed... For years I had to live with the stigma that I was a mad man as claimed by my brother and certain parties in order to save themselves from the Anti-Corruption Agency"

LINGAM VIDOE CLIP: COMMISION’S REPORT

NO WITCH-HUNT
The finding of the Lingam video clip inquiry do not form basis for
Prosecution until a thorough investigation is concluded, say lawyer

“Don’t make an issue, or use it as an avenue to make accusations and presumptions, for sake or creating a public media prosecution. This would not right”
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

“This kind of misbehaviour is so unprecendented that it not for release of video clip, it may never have come to light”
Commission of Inquiry report

“The commission report can be used by aggrieved parties as a springboard for an application to the Federal Court to review its own decision”
Former Court to Appeal judge Datuk Karam Chand Vohrah

“I don’t believe I did anything wrong but if they feel that I am guilty, I will accept any punishment”
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad

THE REPORT REVEALS

The game plan was for Lingam, Tun Mohd Eusoff Chin, Tan Sri Vincent Tan, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku m\Mansor and their contacts to make sure that their friends were in judiciary for the sake of then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Lingam’s claim that he had said many things about Tengku Adnan because he was drunk was too facile to be accepted.

Tan would have taken a very keen interest in the indentity of the judges who were trying his cases, one of which saw a defamation award being the highest in the Commonwealth.

The collective and cumulative actions of the main characters concerned seriously undermined and eroded the independence and integrity of judiciary.

When Men Goes To Bra Shop......

What happen when you (men) going to shopping/survey bra for your wife or sister or girlfriend? Maybe many grandma or womens will staring at you. Why this happen? is that wrong for a men to bought it for their love one. This thing is still weird in Malaysian especially in conservative area. Folk mentality is still old fashion or not up to date.

And MW want to make a survey asking the opinion from ladies about this issue. Is that their don't mind if men going to bra shop alone and is that their feel good when buying a bra with their boyfriend.

First responder, Patricia (not real name), said is not wrong for old men going to bra shop but if the young men going to this shop, she feel weird and not comfortable. She also added if the Bra promoter is men of course she will not going and buy bra at that shop. But however she feel is O.K if her boyfriend also with her when shopping a bra. She added is good for him to know my size.

Second responder, Joyce (not real name), she also agree with Pat, which is men also can go to bra shop. But she said only for matured men not teenager... she may be think their a sex maniac if this teenager going to bra shop. Talking about bring her boyfriend to buy a bra together... she say is up to her boyfriend," if he want to stick with me when i'm buying and choosing my bra is ok, no problem.

Third responder, Cong (are married women, not real name also), she say is Ok for men go to bra shop even if she with her husband she feel comfortable. She added of course my husband must go with me to give opinion and help me to choose which one is right for me.

And the last responder Dayang (not real name), She also agree with the three responder. But she feel not comfortable if go buying a bra with her boyfriend. When Mw asking why? She said "he is not my husband, so can not share a private thing about me to him. Only my husband can go with me shopping a bra or lingerie".

So what MW can summarize here, modern women feel is ok for men goes to bra shop, there is no problem for men going a shopping for a bra for their love one. But however certain people feel is not ok for them if buying this lingerie/bra with their boyfriend because their not want to share the private info with the boyfriend before married. need married first after that anything can share. So, mens out there, no problem for you guys goes to bra shop but you must matured enough.

Ronaldo Miss The Penalty and Riise Score Own Goal

Previous Champion League saw all match a tie (draw) Liverpool Vs Chelsea (1-1) and Manchester United Vs Barcelona (0-0). In this match we can see Man U and Liverpool miss their chance to lead in their second match next week.

Ronaldo who is among the contender for European player of the year, Fifa player of the year and many more miss the chance to lead the MU and their first match after miss the spot kick which is he normally score from it. Hopefully MU will lost at Old Trafford for their second semifinal match.( just kidding ... Sorry MU fans).

At Liverpool, Riise make a wrong clearance and score to his own goal. It make the score is tied one - one. Liverpool which lead from first half goal from Dirk Kuyt now need a full strength at Stamford Bridge next week if their didn't want this season end empty handed without cup. (Go Liverpool.... Go Chelsea....)

Just wait next week to know who are gonna match in final ECL. All this four clubs have their own fans in Malaysia but MU of course is many of malaysian will want to see them through to the final. But MW think may be Chelsea Vs Barcelona in the final at this May.... See ya.

MQA For all IPT

What is MQA? MQA was known previously as LAN which is stand for LEMBAGA AKREDITASI NEGARA or in engish National Board Accreditation. MQA is Stand for Malaysian Qualification Agency (Agensi Kelayakan Malaysia). In general.this agency will make sure the quality of the courses that offer in colleges or universities are very good in quality.

The suggestion from minister of higher learning that all the IPT (Institut pengajian tinggi/ higher Learning Institutes) must or Compulsory doing/ applying MQA certificate for the courses that had been offer in their institute is very welcoming. The minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said that this to suggestion comes because to measure the the standard the IPT in Malaysia and to make Malaysia become the center of excellent institute.

For Malaysian Ways (MW), we have a experience in this education sector especially in private institution. Being accredited it is very special, it show that our institution and courses that we offer a very good and have quality. But however, in this current situation only conscious private institution that apply for MQA. Why accredited courses have quality? it is because MQA panel will look into detail about the college or universities and its courses. MQA panel well examine the college management structure, facilities that being offer, the lecture qualification, students responds, the classes, college activities, staff development, and many more. MQA panel also will go to classes or lab session to look and value how the lecture present and teach their students.

As a one of member private institution also, MW suggest all private institution must go or apply MQA accreditation it because it will help our students to continue their study in our college or universities. Why MW say it can help... It because many money institution that offer loan for study only accept the application for accredited courses. PTPTN (Pinjaman Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Negara) also only offer loans to student if the program/course that the attend is accredited, same also to MARA. So being accredited is not only to make our institute have the recognition but also help the students to further their study.

And.... the last... Accreditation not only for private sector but also the IPTA (the governement institutes). Why ? because MW thinks is not fair if only the private college or universities must accredited. Our public universities also must accredited, if we looking back to our private universities ranking, our ranking is going down. Why this happen? Universities only giving their reasons why their going down but there is no action plan to rising back to high level or ranking. An it also unfair if only private sector have external examiner but public universities also must have external examiner to check them may be the panel is from private uni or college.

If all IPT is being accredited it will it will make Malaysian as recognize excellent higher learning education center. Hopefully the act will announce as soon as possible. MALAYSIAN HIGHER LEARNING EDUCATION BOLEH !

Malaysia Out of Food Supply

How come Malaysian as a agriculture country can have a food crisis. The world rice price is also are increasing and it effect to the Malaysia. The rising of the rice price also making life more difficult to developing countries.

The prime minister immediately responds to this crisis with certain steps that he suggest to take, where are, Big companies must venture into agriculture and food production, The country cannot continue to depend on imports of food item such as rice and farmer must increase their productivity.

But the ordinary folk have some ideas, among them are, rice production can be stepped up by increasing the number of harvests to five in two years, provide a channel for traders and retailer to buy directly from manufacturers and cut down on children's pocket money, shop only at wholesale markets and go for cheaper brands.

That whats have been said. But here at Malaysian Ways, we are doing our research and interviewing the farmer especially in small district likes Pitas in Sabah. What we found is.... very surprising, their didn't feel the effect of rising rice price. Their are more worry about rising of other things price such as mi, other local vegetables, tins food product and soon. Why? their said their are farmer, their planting this paddy every twice a year so its enough for them.

So its mean the rising of the price is effect especially to who didn't plant a paddy. This more effected to people who live in city, who are not a farmer. But the increasing of rice price is worrying to farmer because it maybe also will effect other basic needs by them.

Looking back to what our prime minister suggestion, Malaysian Ways(MW) give his responds. First, big companies must venture to agriculture, MW think maybe this idea not really a effective idea because normally big companies nowadays only looking to the profits so the idea in farming a big paddy field may be not comes to they minds. And if this happen also maybe their a venture to fruits or to animals farming (such as pigs and cattle). And sometimes this companies also will bully or discriminate the small paddy farmer. So What MW thinks is, the persatuan peladang who known as PELADANG must proactive to find more members helps them to farm a paddy field. Because many land are still available to do this paddy farming. And our government must protect certain land from development or planting of oil palm. Many land nowadays a being plants with this oil palms. It because this oil palm gives more profits.

Second, of course that was true, our country cannot rely on import foods. Our people must looking to our land product. It also can help the farmer actually. No more Beras Siam or Beras Vietnam, Buy Beras Super Tempatan our local rice. The third, the farmer cannot increasing the productivity without support from government. So government must help this paddy farmer especially in area where there is no water channel. Because in this area mean their cannot plant paddy twice a year because lack of water supply. Subsidies for paddy farmer need to review and increase if the government want the rising of productivity from this farmer

The ideas from the folk also need to review back. Farmer can not increased of harvests to five in two years because its will effect to land quality. And the ideas ideas a logic ideas from the folk side.

So it means everybody are involved in the effects of the rising rice price. MW will do a more research about this matter. Any founding will be post here. See ya.
